The Ask:

Collaborate with Bonfire Labs and Google to creatively direct and lead the brand strategy for the launch of Google Workspace. This involved working with Google's executive team and key product owners to transform G-Suite's branding and communication strategy.

The Answer:

In focused sprints with Google's leadership, we developed a comprehensive strategy to communicate the evolution from G-Suite to Google Workspace. This included creating innovative storytelling techniques for videos, incorporating key brand elements in engaging ways. I was instrumental in scripting and conceptualizing storyboards for launch videos, both internal and external. Additionally, I developed a channel strategy centered around the tagline “Everything You Need to Get Anything Done Now In One Place,” ensuring a cohesive and impactful launch message.

The Result:

The launch of Google Workspace was a resounding success. The strategy and creative direction provided were well-received by both the client and agency partners, effectively repositioning G-Suite as Google Workspace in the market. The launch videos, with their playful yet clear messaging, and the strategic channel approach, played key roles in this successful transition, enhancing Google's reputation as a comprehensive solution for workplace productivity.
